The most Endangered Species in this island (top 5, Natgeo version): Siau Island tarsier (see picture)
These species are in danger of volcanic activity and the larger predators. Siau Island tarsier is inserted into the list of animals that are endangered on the IUCN conference in 2011. Distribution of this animal is very narrow which is only on Siau Island, North Sulawesi, Indonesia. On the island's only been hunted by human and volcanic activity threatened

Spesies ini berada dalam ancaman aktivitas vulkanik dan predator yang lebih besar. Tarsius Pulau Siau dimasukkan ke dalam daftar hewan yang hampir punah pada konferensi IUCN pada tahun 2011. Persebaran hewan ini sangat sempit yaitu hanya di Pulau Siau, Sulawesi Utara, Indonesia. Di pulau itu saja sudah diburu oleh manusia dan terancam aktivitas vulkanik.
