This is a salt lake, also known as Zilling or Qiling or Ch'i-lin. It is located at an elevation of 4530m. It covers an area of 1640 square kilometer; with a estimate maximum depth of length 78km. Often frozen from Nov-May. It is the second largest lake in Tibet.
