In 1920, C.H. Musselman and his wife purchased 10 acres known as the Inwood Fair Grounds, where they began to build the Inwood plant in 1921. In 1922, they began production in their new facility. The plant employed 150 local residents to process canned apple, cider, and dried pomace. Knouse Foods acquired the Inwood plant in 1984 when it purchased the Musselman's Company. Today, this plant packs apple juice and apple sauce in a variety of sizes. Square footage at plant: 289,874. Acreage: 131. Number of employees: 140.
