Symbolic International Foot-Bridge, incorrectly hawked by tour operators as being the "World's smallest international footbridge" between the USA and Canada.

Both islands are considered a single island named Zavikon Island, and both are in Canadian territory.

  • The border on the map must be a little bit off, because this is indeed the shortest international bridge (I think of any type: not merely foot bridge) in the world.
  • Where's the custom agent hiding?
  • The border isn't off. It's not an "international bridge" ... that's just a cute little story to tell the tourists.
  • Correct: Both islands are in Canadian waters, the US flag painted on one side of the bridge is there to symbolize the friendship between our two nations.
  • rubbishhhhh
  • The Google maps border here is way off. Topo maps show the border far to the SE, enclosing all four of these small islands in Canadian teritory.
