Church of St George was the temple of a small monastery, which since 16th century was a dependency of the monastery Agarathos.
The church bears excellent frescoes of the 15th century at almost the whole extent of the walls. It is worth looking at the engravings with the names of the travelers of that time written in Latin.
Outside the church there is the old domed tank of the monastery that has been turned lately into ta room. In recent years benches and tables have been installed for celebrating the feast of St George.
