  My village name is Dhaul and I have passed matriculation from T. Islam High School Chawinda. My teachers namely Aslam Bajwa, Muzaffar Bajwa and very respectable teacher Hafeez Saeed.Chawinda is very beautiful town. Before partition majority population is Sikh Jatt. The buildings very beatiful which were damaged during Indo-Pak war 1965. I love my village and Town specially District Sialkot. District Sialkot people are very simple and hardworker.   i m a war veteran of india pakistan war 1965. i want to compile stories of the war.i m very keen to know the details of war that took place around villages chawinda phillarrah gadgore and kangre.i m very familiar with this area.as very hot battles had taken place in these villages therefore i have chosen to record them at one place.that has now become my passion.i salute the people of this area who faced the hardships as a result of the war. i feel good to recount the stories of 1965 war in this area. may be i might hit upon some unsung heroes. i shall highly respect any one whoever likes to help me in my love for the people of this area.

  I lived here and was in primary school 1945 to 1947. The school has since been demolished and rebuilt. I have been told that my house in mohallah sheikhan was also demolished. The only house that remains in old form is now a charitable dispensary. (The house originally belonged to sheikh Abdullah). I am looking for photograph of this house and also photograph of, hat I remember, Pooran Bhagat bath.
