Ilyinka is the centre of Ilyinskoye rural settlement of Alekseyevsky district of Belgorod region.
Ilyinskoye rural settlement includes:
– Ilyinka village;
– Ignatov khutor;
– Sidorkin khutor.

Ilyinka village was based in first half of XVIII-th century as many other settlements in western part of Alekseyevsky district. The settlement was named after the building of wooden church in honor of Elijah (prophet) in 1773 year. The same name had the owner of settlement Ilya Aleksandrov – voivode of Userd (Usyord) county (nowdays it is village Streletskoe of Krasnogvardeysky (Biryuch) district).
