The Museum of Varkaus (established 1956) is located in an old hotel, which was built by the Varkauden Tehtaat company for its guests in 1914. Its exhibition shows the development of the industry and society in Varkaus, as well as the culture of the people working here. Different temporary exhibitions are also open.
The Varkaus Art Museums (established 1956) main collections represent Finnish modernism beginning from the 20th century.
