Founded in 1888, HHYC is one of the oldest Yacht clubs in America. The small club has held its place in Larchmont's Manor Park through many a Hurricane & Nor'Easter and offers some of the most beautiful water & landscape views in the area. The club building itself has seen its share of troubles though, having burned to the ground in 1896 & 1992. In its current incarnation, the club offers a large wraparound porch, large grand room, launch operators quarters, restrooms & kitchen and a large storage space in the basement for kyacks and small sailboats. The club has 2 launches and a small boston whaler to service its fleet of 40 or so boats.
