Once called the "Football Capitol of the South", Legion Field is one of the most historic stadiums in the United States. The most famous use of Legion Field is for college football games. Both the University of Alabama and Auburn University have used this stadium for games across their history, primarily due to its size and location. It currently serves as the home stadium for the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB).
