Kirk Hall was built in 1829 by the congregation of St Andrews Presbyterian Church. Until 1885 it was used as a Protestant school ( the oldest English school in the Province of Quebec), and then as a residence for the assistant minister. By 1909, the building became a community hall, Sunday school and a residence for the sexton.
