SD Kasatriyan is part of the Kraton Surakarta Sultanate established on October 19, 1910 under Kasatriyan Education Foundation. In accordance with the meaning Kasatriyan name derived from the word "satriya" which means warrior men, and PAMARDIPUTRI which means girl. At first SD Kasatriyan standing with only accept students only son, while the daughter was placed in the elementary school students Pamardiputri. Because of the changing times, in 1983 respectively both elementary school and elementary Pamardiputri Kasatriyan students can receive student son or daughter until now.
