Mine "Guido" was founded in 1855 by Count Guido Henckel von Donnersmarck, and took the name from his name. Regular coal mining began in the 70s Nineteenth century. In 1922, after the division of Silesia, remaining on the German side going into the composition of the mine Delbrück ( "Delbrückgrube). After World War II has become a disused mine Makoszowy region.
