  • I reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy miss u my play ground........where frm I learn to play Foot ball.......I miss you sir...who give us the light of education.....make us MAN.....
  • It was my last school at Howrah way back in 1960. I was in class five when we shifted to Delhi. I seldom visit West Bengal and don't have the chance to see the school. It must have changed a lot. Even Delhi, where I live now has changed tremendously and sometimes even when I look at it, I wonder whether it is the same Delhi where I put my foot in early 1960's. My study at Vivekananda Institution was for a year only. But it was unforgettable. At the ripe age of 58 on the verge of retirement I often think of the past about my school at Howrah(Ramakrishnapur Mission School and Vivekakanda Institution)and the places where I stayed like Raj Bhallava Saha Lane, Kailash Bose 3rd bye Lane, Bajeshibpur etc. I wish to revisit these places one day.
  • i still miss my school. i remember very vividly my time in the school. of Sudhangshu Babu ( civics ), Himangshu Baby ( english ), Shyamal Babu ( history ),Bipin Babu ( maths? famouus for his vintage car ), Shishir Babu ( bengali ). Are they alive today? There was another teacher ( bengali ? ) called Brajo Babu. There were also famous footballers- Ashok Chatterjee, Jahar Das. There was a briliant student named Pinaki whose elder brother was famous Bangla novelist Shankar. I wonder whether any of you knew about these people. I also remember the school had a junior section near Shyamasree cinema hall.
  • i remember the pride which engulfed me when our head master, Sudhangshu Babu was conferred the best teacher award by the president of india. i also remember my struggle to wear a dhoti which was compulsory to attend the saraswati puja. i cant forget my stolen glimpse to the girls of mahakali institution during my adolesence days, on way to attend the school. purano sei diner katha bhulbi ki re hai.....
  • hi this is pritam..hs.. 2007..still missing our school
  • I am an ex student of this school and passed out in the year 1967.The days are still live in front of my eyes.I am unable to forget those days and the memories will last in the core of my heart till the last day of my life. The school I have studied was under the leadership of Late Sudhansu Sekhar Bhattacharya and I realise today what he influence that great man has on us taht I am honoured a few lines about my school and my Teachers. Time passes on and one day I have to leave this world but I will have a satisfaction that God was kind enough to me that i hv been able to study in this school and I would love to study in the same school if I am reborn.
