This a great place to visit. There are colour-coded forest trails to follow which are generally quite gentle and manageable. The centre itself is modern and comfortable with a good gift shop and a nice cafe too. Live pictures of the Ospreys nesting (when in season) near Bassenthwaite are fed to large screens inside the centre.
