The Jonsson-Rowland Science Center & Hirsch Observatory is home to the School of Science, holding classes and laboratories for the Departments of Biology and Physics and related disciplines. The Hirsch Observatory, on top of the building, is open to all students.
Was intended to have some sort of regional FAA air traffic control center or training center, but the plan fell through. This is the reason for the air traffic control tower on the roof of the building.
