hamlet, draw only border
Donk is a hamlet of the municipality of Mol. It is located south of the Kempens Kanaal and forms an industrial centre.
Donk originally consisted of separate houses and workers' houses around the Turnhoutsebaan and the first companies. Geographically, these houses are located in the east of Donk.
In 1949 the Saint-Anthony church was built. According to many rumors, the church was built on a large pit that was left behind after a bomb hit during World War II. This would have already saved a lot of work and money in terms of excavation work.
