Rauw

Belgium / Antwerpen / Balen /
 hamlet, draw only border

Rauw is one of the twelve hamlets of the Belgian municipality of Mol. However, the place is closer to the centers of Lommel and Balen than to the center of Mol itself and is also referred to as a church village. On some topographic maps, Rauw is referred to as Rouw or Het Rouw.
The name Rauw comes from Ruw, the rough swamp area near the Scheppelijke Nete.
