The John Snow is named after the famed Epidemologist Who first discovered that Cholera was transmitted through water. Located at the corner of Lexington and Brewer Street's Soho. The Original tap to the Brewer St Pump, is still situated in a locked cabinet in the upstairs bar. The site shown as the pump monument is no more than 200 yards away and is marked by a blue curbstone, to the right side of the Brewer st entrance to the pub (another Sam Smiths).
