On the banks of the Lundi River, and right off of the main Cape to Cairo "Highway", this Free Methodist Mission Station, established around 1950?, held a clinic and boarding school for the people in the area. Several families of hippos lived year around in the pools in the river, along with a few Nile crocodiles and lots of snakes.
