Name for the town part on the right Vuka bank and under the Šamac hill.
The centre of Stari Vukovar is characterised by houses with baroque arches built in the provincial baroque style of the Empress Maria Theresa period. These were once the houses of craftsmen and traders, with workshops and shops displaying the economic power of the wealthier Vukovar bourgeoisie.
The town centre is a protected urban historical area.
