The Yubileyny bridge (Yaroslavl)

Russia / Jaroslavl / Yaroslavl
 road bridge, 2006_construction

The bridge across Volga river was opened in 2006.
It was very ambitious project for Yaroslavl city and whole Yaroslavl region. The main idea was to create the new river-crossing channel and aimed to help in improvement of current road situation. Here is no any infrastructure still near the "new" bridge, so here is no traffic and the city of Yaroslavl are sitting in road jams.

Yubileiny means "Dedicated to Annyversary" (1000 years in 2010)
