  Emmanuel Bernard rode a tricycle all over Dar es Salaam in 1962-1963, (which he cranked by hand, because his legs were useless [? polio ?]), and he worked as a delivery boy. He was a luminous young man, and my friend the year I taught in Dar. I learned from P. Majithia, of Dar, that he was assisted by this church. May the God of Christians, Hindus, and Muslims be with him wherever he is now. I offer my thanks to all who may have assisted him in his journey. -- Wm A. Wheaton, Pasadena CA, USA
