This complex is quite a deal. Parks and Rec has put a lot of investment here. What looks like a footpath around the lake is heavily fortified with fishing docks and benches and carefully protected patches of natural reserve for the abundance of wildlife that
migrates through here. This place gets a lot of use by many species, including humans, so the grass is always struggling to survive somewhere around the perimeter of the lake.
The kid's playground equipment in Foothill Park is spread out nicely, compared to most playgrounds, in keeping with how much space there is here.
As large as this park complex is, it is only part of a natural drainage system that entangles this whole area, so you get the sense that this is a sort of freeway interchange for birds and aquatic mammals, if you hang around here long enough.
This park is great for a walk looking at all the ducks and geese that fly through there each year. So whether it's a walk with a loved one, a canine, or a friend, this place is great for a walk in the park.
