 forest, invisible

In the dialect of this particular area of Albania, it means "walnuts". It used to be a lush little forest full of walnut trees. The scent and perfume of all the vegetation in this forest is incredible, especially the fragrance of the walnut trees. Simply unbelievable and very hard to explain too. This little forest is over 1100 m (3610 ft) over the sea level, at the lowest point, - gradually climbing the mountain (Gramos, on the right of your screen) foot. As you climb up, the vegetation becomes scarcer and thinner, leaving place to shrub-like walnut trees and other bushes.
In this lofty mountain (2523 m/8278 ft high) you may find a rare herb called "mountain tea" otherwise known by the scientific name of "Sideritis", which, together with the vegetation of this whole area, to my personal opinion smells like nothing else in the world; the only word i managed to find appropriate to describe it is: "fragrance of eternity". One should visit this area to understand what i am talking about. It will be an unforgettable experience.
