The Nikolaev railway church (Ulan-Ude)

The wooden building of church has been constructed in 1900th at railway station of station Verhneudinsk, on a place of a modern building of linear department of internal affairs at station of Ulan-Ude. «In 1900th behind a railway line to be erected the Nikolaev railway church» (ф.10, оп.1, д.2309, л.1). In 1915-1917 Ivan Avtonomov Burnashevsky, the roadman of 1 neighbourhood 6 sites of the Track maintenance of the Transbaikalian railway was the church head. After closing till 1937 the church was used as a waiting room of passengers of station.

In 2002 veterans - railwaymen the Uhlan - of Udensky branch VSZHD have offered the chief of branch A.S. To Korenev to construct near to railway station a small chapel. After two years chief ВСЖД A.G.Tishaninym the decision on temple building was accepted.

In the first day church новолетия, on September, 14th, 2004, the ruling bishop of the Chita and Transbaikalian diocese by bishop Evstafiem consecrates and establishes in the basis of a temple a mortgage stone with sacred hallows of prelate Innokentija of the bishop Irkutsk.

August, 2004. Chief ВСЖД A.G.Tishanin confirms a temple breadboard model. A spadework is spent. There is begun a zero cycle.

September, 2005. Temple building is under the constant control of chief ВСЖД of A.V.Vorotilkina. By this time the temple building is constructed, painting and decorating is conducted.

On April, 20th, 2006, in "Maundy Thursday" Passionate седмицы, on the eve of EASTER holiday, the first dome and a cross has been established. Молебен on dome and cross consecration archpriest Oleg Matveev has spent decent the Buryat district.
