A Sally Port opening in the medieval fortifications at Portsmouth, UK. This gave access from the sea to the old garrison, and was used by naval and other officers embarking for and disembarking from numerous naval and military expeditions abroad and on the high seas.

It was also the place where Catherine of Braganza, disembarked in England for her marriage to King Charles II at the nearby Domus Dei, nowadays known as the Royal Garrison Church of Portsmouth.
