Fellmann Park (Lahti)

The park was built on the fields of the Lahti Manor in the 1950s when people were offered employment in building the park after the war. The Memorial for the Finnish Civil War Prisoners was built on the 60th anniversary of ending of the Finnish Civil war (in 1978). The spacious park includes, for example, Katsura trees, horse chestnut, various poplar species and coniferous trees.
