Osakis is a city in Douglas and Todd counties in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The population was 1,740 at the 2010 census.
Osakis was first settled in 1859, was established in 1866, and incorporated in 1881 and again in 1887. The post office began in 1864. It had a station serving both the Great Northern Railway and the Northern Pacific Railroad, starting in 1878.
