This is one of the best markets in Chimbote as far as varity and prices go. If you arrive early on Fridays, you will find that there are many merchants that have come down from the Andes bringing to market their goods they have either made or grown themsels. It is very big, dusty and distracting. Bargaining is allowed, but don't expect prices to change because most of them are already at rock bottom."
