  • I was born and grew up in this town. I believe wherever you go there's always good and bad people. The town is small that there's actually nothing you can do or go. If you don't want to get stuck or don't want to raise fighting cocks, you move out... as of me, I am considering of retiring in this town someday. The people might be poor but they're real.

  • I was born and grew up in San Enrique and still lived there until now. I'm a professional and so with the rest of my siblings. I have been in the government service for almost 22 years now and while the office i worked with is in the city i still prefer to go home to San Enrique at the end of the day. I have been to U.K several times in the past now and to other Asian countries too, for a vacation, but in all those times i have been away from home, i want to be back to San Enrique!! While San Enrique may not have all the material riches and all the modern-day structures and facilities like other towns and cities here and abroad have but there is something in my town that no amount of money, material possessions and worldly pleasures can ever satisfy. It's just the feeling of being home..Home is where the heart is! Just being home in San Enrique, i feel safe even if they say, it is becoming a center of illegal drugs. I can be my real self w/ real people around. And who said that happiness, contentment and fulfillment in life can only be achieved if u live in the richest place in the world and in the midst of all the abundance of material possession and worldly pleasures? There's more to life than just the riches. Im proud to be a Tinobaganon! Im proud of San Enrique! I may travel the whole world but home is where the heart is!...and i know for every Tinobaganon who left this poor town in search of greener pastures, there will come a time that in your twilight years or even in ur death bed, u will long for home!!
