Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of the Middle Dnieper

When driving route Kyiv-Cherkasy, near Pereiaslav-Khmelnytsky, a bypass road signs is "Museum". Hence there is a great ensemble Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of the Middle Dnieper National Historical and Ethnographical Reserve "Pereyaslav, but rather is made unique ensemble of a dozen gems of folk architecture of our ancestors, also known as outdoor museums.
Construction of museums in the area of 30 hectares was launched in 1964 in Tatarska mountain to honor the 150 th anniversary of T. Shevchenko. Area meets the conditions under which a settlement occurred in ancient times, and at a later time. The mountain remains of monuments of ancient time (period bronze mound, the remains of the settlement and burial ground chernyakhivska Culture II-V centuries., The ancient materials).
