The Savoy Theatre is a West End theatre in the City of Westminster in London. Designed by C.J. Phipps, it was built from 1880 to 1881 by Richard D'Oyly Carte as a showcase for the Gilbert and Sullivan Comic operas. it was the first public building in the world to be lit entirely by electricity. From June to October 1929, the Savoy Theatre was rebuilt to a design by Frank A. Tugwell.

The Savoy Theatre was refurbished between 1989 and 1993. It hosted the 1993 World Chess Championship. It is currently showing Legally Blonde: The Musical as of December 2009.

The Savoy Theatre, currently owned by the Ambassador Theatre Group, originally had a seating capacity of 1,292, which was reduced to 986 in 1929. The current seating capacity is 1,158, distribued among three levels: Stalls, Dress Circle, and Upper Circle.

The Savoy Theatre became a Grade II* listed building on 23 October 1973.
