Kyiv funicular was built more than hundred years ago to connect low part of the city -Podil with the rest city, which placed on Kyiv's hills.
There is one railway with two trailers, which are "meet" each other on the middle of the way. Lenght of the railway 238 m.

There were only one crash 1928 one trailer fell down and break. But people stay alive.

Funicular works from 6:30 AM to 10 PM (winter) or to 11 PM (summer)
Price: 50 kopijok = 10 cent.
Time: 2-3 minutes
