  • The Jhansi Hotel has a distinguished history in this city as it was very much the abode of British 'burra-sahibs' in its day.It still retains a faded grandeur and there are remnants of the once beautiful garden.Additionally,trophies of long dead animals still adorn the verandah.A drink at the bar makes one wonder what life was like for those who could afford these comforts during the 'Raj' years.
