Friesland is a small unincorporated community in in sections 25 and 36 of Dell Grove Township, Pine County, Minnesota. In 1977, the Minnesota DOT estimated its population at 20 people. It had a station of the Great Northern and Northern Pacific railroads. A post office was in operation from 1896-1917.
