LAKE Ayamaru located in the District Ayamaru, Sorong Selatan regency, 216 kilometers west of Sorong. From long ago this was a center of transportation, tourism, and sources of livelihood for the local community. But over the time, the function is lost because the water lake receded up to 50 meters, and even some part have dried up. Most area lakes have become swamps and overgrown with grass.
