Old Walled City of Vadodara (Vadodara)

Vadodara was a walled city with four gates for entering the city. On the West was the Laheripura Gate, on the South was the Champaner Gate, on the East was the Pani Gate and to the South was the Gendi Gate. The centre of the city had the pavillion called the Mandvi. Nearby was the Old Sarkarwada, the original residence of the Gaekwads of Vadodara. Next to it stands the Nazarbaug Palace, now in a dilapidated condition
