Shinsegae Centum City is a shopping and entertainment complex completed in 2009 consisting of two wings connected on each level with a floor area of 509,810 square meters/5,487,594 square feet. Shinsegae Centum City holds the Guinness World Record as the largest shopping complex in the world.

The complex has fourteen floors in the east wing and nine floors on the west wing, that are all marble with crystal chandeliers in the center of the store around the escalators. The "Sky Park", a roof top open green space, can be found on the ninth floor. Building cost was 1.025 trillion won (US$1.09 billion).

Shinsegae Centum City is directly connected to “Centum City Station” Busan Subway Line #2 and close to Haeundae Beach.

The department store has emerged as a defining landmark in Busan.
