Hanging Rock is a seven million year old volcano. It is renowned as the setting for the movie "Picnic at Hanging Rock". The views from the top are well worth the half hour walk, although it has some very steep sections.You can have a nice lunch at the cafe. The bbq facilities are excellent and there is plenty of parking. Might see a Koala or Black Wallaby if you look carefully.
