  Near NH 43 and Gandhi Chowk, the existing crematorium has been developed. Now this ground became a pleasant place and nobody who attends a funeral here undergoes depression. One may visit the place, even if it is not an occasion of somebody's funeral. Mrs. A Govindarao(Walkers Club), K Srinivasa Rao, Sasi Patnaik, Anajala Nageswara Rao, A Veerabhadrarao, P Umamahesh, Sana V Ramana have worked for its development. MP of Koraput Constituency, MLA of Jeypore Constituency have parted LAD funds. Many generous individuals of the town have financially supported the project. Sri S Janardana Rao is foremost among them. Presently the mission is facing financial crisis for maintenance. A watchman-cum-mali is engaged. A considerable energy charges are being paid. Altogether a sum of Rs.5000 and above is required monthly for its maintenance. On the average 20 bodies are cremated in a month and at Rs.100 per funeral is being collected which comes to Rs.2000 per month. The deficit is being met out of donations in shape of cash and kind. Since the crisis is of perennial nature, continuous help from the Jeyporeans is solicited.
