Brief history of technical schools Kolubara from Lazarevac



Technical School Kolubara in Lazarevac a vocational school that is in its existence, often changed its name because its roots dating back to 1948/49. when the Vreoci existed as a school for apprentices.

When you moved into the rum, and received a new name: School of qualified workers.

In 1958/59. School starts working as TS "Stanislav Sremcevic Black.

Since 1978/79. years after the reform, the school became the center for education-oriented education "Stanislav Sremcevic Black.

As an educational center for education-oriented "Stanislav Sremcevic Black" with their school work continues to 1990/91. when the decision of the Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and the act of verification separated into two schools:
- Technical school Kolubara and
- Gymnasium Motovun.

School has changed in recent years the area of work and occupations within them, depending on the needs of industry and mining basin Kolubara.
The results of its work, developing and changing in parallel with JPRB Kolubara and society as a whole, the school has found its place and has grown to the educational institution that has the conditions to successfully step into the future.

School Today


The school has nearly 1300 students in 4 areas of work, with a number of occupations, grouped in 42 classes. TS Kolubara seeks to meet the needs and space of modern teaching, so in addition to classrooms and has equipped cabins for courses, crtaonicu, two amphitheatres, two fiskulturne hall, school library with 20,000 books and dental clinic.

Students of our school participated with great success on numerous municipal, city and national competitions.
Laboratories with modern equipment and instruments allow students to gain knowledge in basic subjects.

In the practical part of teaching students create different models that are later used in exercises to simulate real working device.

Within the school there are four computer cabinet in which students acquire basic knowledge of computing and information technology.

Each cabinet has cable internet access and all computers in the office are networked so that students at any time can get the data they need. Working with different programming packages that students acquire the knowledge necessary for successful work in certain occupations.
