Steinstücken (Berlin)

This village was in the American Sector of West Berlin but until a land swap with the DDR in the early 1970's, it was totally cut off from the rest of the free world and had to be accessed by U.S. Army helicopter. That is why still today there is a corridor of land connecting it to Berlin and why it is not part of Potsdam.
