The village Taourirt Ouabla is situated in the Ait R'Zine Commune. Taourirt, in short, is located on a hill overlooking all the surrounding villages such as Tizi Allouane, Handis, Wizram, Guenzeth, and even the Bousalam river (Assif An'Bousalam). The French army selected this village to be the garrison to monitor the Algerian Liberation forces and the surrounding villages population.
