  • My first year of Boy Scouts was the last year for Camp Shikellamy. I'd love to go back in there to hike around and look.
  • It has been sold off into lots. A lot of the foundations still remain. The lake and main building is still there. We were up there to pick up 4 boys that bought one if the cabins.
  • This place is in my veins, I spent parts of six summers here and it is near our farm in Bethel, PA.
  • First summer camp at Ft. McHenry camp site in 1966 followed by 5 more until 1971. Did Order of the Arrow there. Friday night campfires and the OA tap out ceremonies were most impressive. Scouting experience set the foundational knowledge for me to go to be an Army Ranger and Desert Storm MEDEVAC pilot.
