Sheikh Khalifa Bridge (Abu Dhabi)

The newly built 10-lane Sheikh Khalifa Bridge to Saadiyat Island and a 27km expressway has been opened by General Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of UAE Armed Forces.

The 1.4km bridge was named after the President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler of Abu Dhabi, in recognition of his vision towards propelling Abu Dhabi to become a leading global capital in accordance with the Vision 2030 mandate for its overall development.

Bridge also facilitates easy passage to Abu Dhabi city from international airport
