movie / film / TV location, airport terminal
Terminal 4 opened in 2001 to a design by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill to replace the former International Arrivals Terminal, an international style building that was built in the 1950s, and was one of the airport's earliest terminals. It features a modular design that will allow it to be expanded further if necessary. The terminal is managed by JFK International Air Terminal (IAT) LLC, a subsidiary of the Schiphol Group which runs Amsterdam's international airport. It currently has 48 gates in two concourses.
The exterior of the terminal was used as a filming location for White Collar S01 E01 "Pilot" as Neal picks up a vintage car to go on a joy ride. The interior entry was later used in S1 E13 when Neal acts as the chauffeur for Peter Wilkes after being kidnapped and is met by Peter Burke.
