  http://freshpondgolf.com/home.html As far as public courses go, Fresh Pond has to be a the top of the list in terms of quality and course maintenance. 3 of the holes were renovated between the 2006-2007 seasons. Its is a course that requires the use of all the clubs in the bag. Being in the middle of a densly populated area, it can get very busy and is a first-come, first-serve course on the weekends. There are discounts for Cambridge City Residents as well as priority tee times on weekends for season pass holders. It can get slow in the late mornings as some of the older crowd get in their rounds. Get there early or get out in the mid-afternoon otherwise you're in for a 2-2.5 hour 9 hole loop.
