Courtyard Bathory is located between the west wing of the Royal Castle and Wawel Cathedral. The name comes from the largest of the chapels adjacent to the Cathedral - Chapel of the Batory. In the basement of the courtyard is a crypt, which is a remnant of the Church of St. Gereon.
