  • This is a very old locality. It is known that long back when maharaja Krishnachandra was passing throug the churni river in his own bajra (decorated big boat) hearing sound of a ringing bail sent his men to enquire the source and came to know that an old brahmin is worshiping the god krishna. Maharaj Krishnachandra made a mandir in that place, the Jugol Kishor Temple. The locality centres round the temple.
